1. Why do I need offsite backup?
Offsite backup is critical because your data is important and if you were to lose it how much time would it take to recreate it? Data is lost so many ways, the data on your computer can be lost due to human error, natural disaster, fire, theft, and hardware failure.
2. Why should I backup my personal computer?
Backing up your personal computer will give you a feeling of security because you can insure that if your data was lost for any reason you could replace the files. You are able to replace a broken or stolen computer, but can you replace the pictures of your family? Can you replace the emails? What about your personal financial information? We have to face that we live in a very technical world that is becoming more and more dependant on computers for functions that once were done by files papers and hard copies. Backing up is essential if you don’t it can be very expensive to recover your files.
3. What are the benefits of backing up offsite?
Backing up your important files locally (on your computer or in the same location as your computer or server) can do very little if your building is destroyed or your equipment is stolen. Also CD’s, DVD’s, Tapes, Removable Hard Drives, and Zip Disks are prone to failures and can't be completely trusted. You want to be sure that you are not taking on that risk.

5. How does the service work? What is the service?
The service works like Windows Explorer so you can quickly find the files you want to backup. Once you find the files you want to backup simply press the “backup now” button and the software will begin the backup process and you can continue working.

Restoring files is just as easy find the archive that you want to restore and follow the same path that you used to backup your files and select the file you want to restore right click select restore and then select the place you want to restore your file.
6. I am having trouble installing the service.
After signing up for a plan you will be sent an e-mail with your username and password and a link that will allow you to download the software. (see the installation help for installation instructions) After installing the software you are ready to start your first backup. (see tutorials for more information on your first backup.)
7. How many different versions of the same file can I store?
By default the service will store three versions of each file that you select to backup. You have the choice to have an unlimited number of versions.
